Джон присоеднилися к Marilyn Manson в 1998 году, и уже был отмечен в составе на альбоме «Mechanical Animals», в то время как еще не участвовал в студийной записи.

Dr. Nishith Goel is the CEO of Cistel Technology, an Information Technology company he founded in 1995 which has operations in Canada and the US. A veteran technology executive and entrepreneur, Dr. Goel is also co founder of CHiL Semiconductor, IPine Networks, Technologie Sanstream and Sparq Systems. After his early education in India, Dr. Goel earned his MASc in Electrical Engineering and PhD in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He began his professional career at Bell Northern Research in Ottawa in 1984 before moving on to Northern Telecom in 1988. Dr. Goel has served on the Board of Directors of Enablence (ENA:TSX V) from 2007 2011 and on the Board of Directors of Excelocity since 2006. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Ottawa, the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation and the Indo Canada Ottawa Business Chamber (ICOBC). Dr. Goel served as Chair of the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation in 2009 2011, and Chair of ICOBC in 2009 2010. Dr. Goel is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of Queen’s Centre for Energy and Power Electronics Research, and is also on the Board of Directors for Carleton University’s Canada India Centre for Excellence.

As CEO and founder, Dr. Kalai Kalaichelvan has developed EION Wireless into a world leader in IP software and wireless networking solutions. Dr. Kalaichelvan holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, and is on the Advisory Board of Samsung Electronics. Dr. Kalai Kalaichelvan brings to the Board over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in business and technical leadership. For his entrepreneurial innovation, CATA Alliance and the National Research Council honoured him with the 2004 Innovator of the Year Award. EION, which he founded in 2001, has a staff of 50 and annual revenues of over $10M, and has an established track record of university collaboration and subsequent technology transfer and commercialization.
Dr. Praveen Jain, Director
Professor and Canada Research Chair, Queen’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Dr. Praveen Jain holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) and the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE). He is also a recipient of the William E. Newell Power Electronics Award from IEEE and the Engineering Medal (R from the Professional Engineers of Ontario. Dr. Praveen Jain holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Power Electronics at Queen’s University. His research contributions have resulted in over 375 publications, he has secured over $15M in external research funding, and is active in most major international conferences in the power electronics field. He has supervised over 75 research engineers, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students. Dr. Jain’s industrial experience has included work as a power electronics engineer for Canadian Aeronautics where he contributed to the design and development of high frequency power conversion equipment for the International Space Station, as an advisor for Nortel Networks and as a consultant with Astec Advanced Power Systems. He has also consulted with many organizations including Ballard Power, General Electric and Intel. In addition, he secured venture funding to establish a new company, CHiL Semiconductor, from research innovation at Queen’s University.
Dr. Alireza Bakhshai
Associate Professor, Queen’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Dr. Alireza Bakhshai received his BSc and MSc from the Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, in 1984 and 1986, respectively, and his PhD from Concordia University in 1997. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Concordia University during 1997 8. From 1986 to 1993, and from 1998 to 2004, he served on the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology. Dr. Bakhshai is a licensed Professional Engineer (PEng) in Ontario, and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has contributed to the engineering discipline as a reviewer for both conferences and journals and has served on research committees. Dr. Bakhshai has acted as a supervisor or co supervisor for 15 graduate students, and is currently supervising three and co supervising one. He has published peer reviewed papers in fields including high power electronics and applications, renewable energy conversion, and control systems. In addition, he has demonstrated his ability to apply his knowledge in an industrial context, contributing to the application of FACTS Controllers and of New Motor Drive Technologies for a Cold Rolling Mill at the Mobarakeh Steel Company, Iran, in 2001, and the design and implementation of a Unified Power Flow Controller in 2002 3.

Dr. Brant A. FCRC involves a multi disciplinary research group consisting of eleven faculty members and numerous postdoctoral fellows and graduate students from Queen’s University and the Royal Military College of Canada. Dr. at the Royal Military College of Canada (1997). Dr. Brant A. Peppley has been working in the field of fuel cell research since 1986 when he was hired by the Department of National Defence to test the very first Ballard fuel cells. During the past 23 years he has earned an international recognition as a leading researcher in fuel cells and fuel cell systems.
Dr. Brian Surgenor

Dr. Brian Surgenor is the Associate Dean (Research, Graduate Studies and External Affairs) in the Faculty of Applied Science at Queen’s University. degree in Engineering Physics from McMaster University. He first joined Queen’s Department of Mechanical Engineering as a Sessional Lecturer in 1979, served as Head of Department from 1993 to 2002, attained the rank of professor in 1996, and was the Acting Head of Mechanical and Materials Engineering in 2007 2008. Dr. Surgenor has developed strong industrial connections through his research program and teaching initiatives in the areas of intelligent inspection systems, automatic controls and mechatronics engineering. He has served on the boards of a number of research centres, and is currently the elected researcher representative on the board of the AUTO21 Network of Centres of Excellence. He was responsible for Queen’s becoming a member of the Advanced Design and Manufacturing Institute (ADMI) and the Partners for the Advancement of CAD/CAM/CAE Education (PACE).
Ms. Anne Vivian ScottMs Vivian Scott (MBA, Concordia; BASc, Waterloo) trained as a chemical engineer at the University of Waterloo and worked in the design/engineering/construction field for Fluor Daniel, Kingston office, before completing her MBA at Concordia University in Montreal. Prior to joining PARTEQ in 1998 she worked in product line finance at Nortel Networks in Montreal. At PARTEQ, Ms Vivian Scott leads a team of 10 commercialization managers and has been involved in all aspects of technology transfer: from the assessment of early stage technology, to negotiating major licenses, to hands on management of spin off companies. She has also been very involved with the management of PARTEQ’s captive venture fund which invested over $7M in Queen’s companies. Ms. Vivian Scott has been involved in the start up of the national technology transfer organization, the Alliance for the Commercialization of Canadian Technology (ACCT), and was co chair of ACCT’s founding conference, in 2005; currently she is a member of the Professional Development Committee.
